Pasta is a dish that we all buy ready-made. Do we really know how easy it is to really make it? I attempted it and I must say it was easy as can be. The shape was a bit wonky, but hey as a first timer at it I guess it was good enough!!
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 TBSP olive oil
- 6 EGG yolks , 2 whole EGGS
Measure out two cups of flour. Prepare the Eggs and the oil. Beat the eggs with the oil. Pour the flour onto a surface and make a ditch in the center to start pouring in the eggs slowly incorporate the eggs with the flour until it becomes a nice consistency.
Let the dough rest for around 45 minutes.
Start by cutting 8 triangle shapes in the dough. Take one shape and start rolling it out until its paper thin. Use thinned out pasta for any particular shape you desire.
Heat up your water and add in salt and let cook until softness that your desire.
