Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon +1 teaspoon vegetable oil, divided
- 2 1/2 cups green beans cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 pound chicken breasts cut into cubes
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- salt and pepper to taste
Notes
Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cut up green beans and cook until they are soft, about 4 minutes. Put them on a plate and set aside. Add the other tablespoon of oil to the pan, and add chicken seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook 3-4 minutes on each side. Add the garlic and green beans and cook until green beans are warmed through. In a bowl mix chicken broth, honey and soy sauce. In a second bowl mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water.Pour soy sauce mixture into the pan and cook for just 30 seconds. Slowly add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil, the sauce will start to thicken. Cook for about 1 minute. Enjoy!
